Missoula Carving Club

Fire Station on 39th and Russell

Our woodcarving club consists of approximately 50 plus members. We enjoy carving in a relaxed atmosphere and focusing on each other's carving accomplishments and sharing techniques with one another.  We do not provide classes (yet) but we have a monthly program by carvers from our club or in the local area around Missoula. We have a private club library with books, patterns and other items to help all club members.

Program meeting: 2nd Monday of each month.
The Missoula Area Woodcarvers meet each Monday night throughout the year at the fire station on 39th and Russell at 6:30 - 9:30. To get there you can go down Higgins to 39th, then to Russell and turn left. The fire station will be on the corner on your right. We will be using the back door. Or you can go down Russell and turn right after crossing 39th. Contact: Terry or Janice Porter 273-4219 or tandjporter@aol.com.

We have a short business meeting with a carving project September through May on the second Monday of the month. Members may also bring items for "Show" at this time. We are always looking for small projects to do at this time.
